Praying For Your Healing
God called us to pray for and bless the cities where we live. (Jeremiah 29:7) The founder of Life Centers Global (LCG), Paul Benjamin, launched Bless Buncombe in July 2024 as a city outreach initiative to begin the healing process in the region.
He kept hearing people say "Trashville" whenever he mentioned the word "Asheville." He knew the Bible said in Proverbs 18:21 that death and life are in the power of our words. Whatever you Bless increases in value, and whatever you curse with negative words decreases in value.
He began hosting Bless Buncombe Prayer Events throughout the County to mobilize the churches and the community. The first prayer event was held at RANT Life, a church in East Asheville. The same week that Hurricane Helene devastated WNC, Paul had called the churches to set aside at least five minutes to pray for Buncombe County and our Nation; it was called Bless Buncombe Sunday.
Without prayer, the storm's impact could have been worse.

Rev. Paul Benjamin has been ministering and impacting various communities for over 40 years. He speaks at various churches and men's events and coaches pastors, mayors, and leaders across the nation and around the world.
He has been educating pastors about using their under-utilized church facilities as Impact Centers to serve the growing needs in their communities and nationwide.
Hurricane Helene has been a catalyst in awakening the faith community to become engaged in their city. We are called to serve our cities and positively impact families.
After speaking at a community event last year, Paul was asked to represent and serve the people in Buncombe County as their Next Commissioner for District - One.
When asked if he is running for office, Paul says he is standing in the Gap! (Ezekiel 22:30)
